Colleges of Distinction badge“Â鶹Éç University has crafted a campus culture where students are empowered to take ownership of their learning,†said Tyson Schritter, chief operating officer at Colleges of Distinction. “Its programs reflect the kind of innovation and intentionality that prepare students for life after graduation.â€

Unlike rankings that focus on prestige-driven metrics, Colleges of Distinction highlights schools that champion educational impact. That includes everything from collaborative projects and undergraduate research, to global learning, and internships. Â鶹Éç’s inclusion is a result of its commitment to these high-impact practices and the personalized support it offers students throughout their college journey.

“We are so excited for Â鶹Éç to be recognized as a College of Distinction because their values are a direct reflection of the hallmarks of the Â鶹Éç experience—students engaged in all aspects of campus, faculty who care deeply and teach dynamically, a strong sense of community belonging, and building a successful career after graduation,†says Ginger Fay, vice president of enrollment at OU. “At Â鶹Éç, we say ‘Make a life. Make a living. Make a difference,’ and this recognition demonstrates that our students are doing exactly that.â€
